Giving Societies

All gifts to the Augustinian Fund have a powerful impact on each of our funding priorities. From caring for the sick and elderly friars who have given years of sacrifice and service, to our missions in Japan and Peru that for 115 years have strengthened people’s abilities to care for themselves, providing physical and spiritual resources. Your gift will provide encouragement, hope and faith, supporting the Augustinian way of life and ministries.

Giving Society membership is renewable annually and is based on annual gifts made or facilitated by an individual and his/her spouse. Corporate matching gifts count toward membership when received within the fiscal year.

Saint Thomas of Villanova Leadership Giving Society

For those donors who give $1,000 or more to the Augustinian Fund and want follow in the footsteps of Saint Thomas of Villanova in support of the friars’ way of life and those whom they serve.

Augustinian Saint Thomas of Villanova, known as “Father of the poor,” established social programs, created a soup kitchen in the bishop’s house, and provided shelter for the homeless. He demonstrated the power of Augustinian leadership, reform and renewal by his own example, becoming a symbol of hope in the midst of many hopeless situations.

By joining this leadership society, and renewing each year, you make a difference in the lives of the Augustinians and those whom they serve. The following gift levels qualify for membership:

The Legacy of

St. Augustine in the Catholic Church

Augustine was a thoughtful, empathetic, and loving servant of God. He valued community, welcomed others, and treated them the way they deserved to be treated. Augustine also laid the foundation for the Order of St. Augustine. The Order continues to explore ways to care for those in great need both in our Province work throughout Massachusetts, New Jersey, and surrounding states and in our greater missions throughout the world.

We invite you to continue to learn about St. Augustine, his life, and his teachings.

Sign up for our e-newsletter, where we share news and updates on how we continue to follow in St. Augustine’s footsteps.
